Crisis in Haiti
The 2010, Haiti cholera outbreak is an ongoing situation that began in late October taking the lives of over 1,000 individuals. Rising energy costs have raised the price of food globally. Even more people are starving leading to violence and riots in countries like Haiti and Egypt.

School Architecture Plan
Architectural plans for the school in Lamothe were unveiled at the last meeting in January. The school was designed by Haitian engineer Alemy Mondestin, who lives and works in Rhode Island. The plans were exhibited at the coffeehouse fundraiser on February 9.
Changes in the Board of Directors
Jenny has always been a part of HCHF by attending all fundraisers and helping out in any way that she can. Also, Jenny has been going to Haiti since she was a young girl. She has currently taking a more serious role; secretary, in helping HCHF grow.
